This is important as it contributes to the balance of the natural gases in the atmosphere.Chl reacts with Chlorine and Oxygen together to produce Acetone. This is quite dangerous, as it contributes to the formation of carbon dioxide, which is known to cause death to humans. A person who consumes excessive amounts of it may suffer from carbon monoxide poisoning.Chl reacts with Chlorine andSulphur to produce Hydrogen Chloride (HCl). The chemical name for this is hydrochloric acid, which is a very dangerous chemical to be present in the human body.Lastly, chlo rination requires that the water be filtered to be free of all those unwanted chemicals. Some of the organic chemistry which is required for the purification of water systems includes chemical oxidizing agents, co-enzymes, and Chlorine Clarity. Thus, we can see that the concept of organic chemistry of chlorination is not only about the functionality of the chlorination equipment. It is also about the utilization of chemicals.
